Commercial Play Space Project Goals

Our project goals were to deliver a safe, inclusive, and engaging outdoor play environment through the installation of new playground equipment that encourages active play for children of all ages and abilities. This project was designed to enhance recreation opportunities while improving overall site safety and accessibility. In addition, a new sunny shade structure was installed to increase comfort and provide UV protection, allowing the playground to be enjoyed throughout the year. The project was completed with durable poured in place safety playground surfacing to create a seamless, impact absorbing surface that supports long term use and accessibility.

Playground Project Details and Features

This project involved the installation of two playground structures designed to serve a variety of age groups. This included the Monument Views Commercial Playground System and the Ann Arbor Playground Structure. Along with one standalone climber to promote strength, coordination, and active exploration. The space also features a funnel ball game to encourage social interaction and inclusive group play, as well as five interactive activity panels that support sensory engagement and imaginative learning. A new sun shade sail structure was installed to provide essential sun protection and increase overall comfort for users. The playground area was finished with approximately 2,211 square feet of poured in place rubberised surfacing, creating a seamless, durable, and ADA accessible safety surface for long term performance.
