Commercial Shade Project – Shade Sail for School in Marianna, Florida

Our project goals were to enhance the playground area through the installation of two new sun shades that improve comfort, safety, and overall usability. These structures will provide essential protection from sun exposure, helping to reduce heat on play surfaces and equipment while creating cooler, more enjoyable spaces for children and supervising adults. By incorporating durable, well designed outdoor shades, we aim to support longer play opportunities, promote outdoor activity, and create a more welcoming environment for families throughout the year.

This project included the installation of two high quality shade structures designed to enhance comfort and sun protection within the space. The scope featured a 20′ x 24′ x 8′ four-post hip sunny shade, providing a large, durable shaded area supported by a strong post system for long term stability and coverage. In addition, an 18′ x 18′ x 8′ umbrella sun sail shade was installed to offer a modern, visually appealing shade solution with efficient coverage for smaller gathering or activity areas. Both structures were designed for lasting performance, improved usability of the site, and increased protection from sun exposure.
