When properly engineered for your location and installed to the stamped design, our shade systems can be specified to withstand hurricane force wind loads.

We provide stamped and sealed engineered drawings specifically prepared for your jurisdiction so the design can be reviewed and permitted to meet local building code requirements if required.

Many of our fabric options carry fire ratings that meet California and other regional standards. Fabric availability and ratings vary by material; we will recommend fire rated fabrics where required.

Size depends on the shade style, height, and local loads. We have produced shades more than 100 feet long and taller than 20 feet, with many size options within each style.

Shade fabric systems are not intended to carry snow loads; in snow-prone areas, fabric should be removed for the season. Structural members can be engineered for snow where required, but typical shade fabric designs focus on wind and sun performance.

We offer dozens of styles, including sail shades, hip and ridge shades, umbrella shades, and cantilever systems. Each style has many size options and there are extensive custom design possibilities to fit site needs.

We provide a wide selection of fabric colors and metal finish options so you can create unique color combinations that complement your site and existing equipment.

Our systems use a multi-layer priming and powder coating process that creates a durable finish and significantly minimizes corrosion; proper maintenance further extends finish life.

We have designed and installed thousands of shade systems across the United States, from single-column umbrellas to large shade structures covering stadium seating.

The temperature impact depends on shade type, height, angle, and other factors. In our experience and field measurements, ambient temperatures under shade are typically around 20–30 percent cooler (commonly about 25 percent), with equipment and surface temperatures often significantly lower.

If you have a construction background, you may be able to install basic and smaller shades. However, for larger and more complex shades, we recommend professional installation.

We do not offer our shade structure installation services to residential clients and homeowners, but you are welcome to purchase the shade from us.
