Community Playground Project – Play Area for Apartment Complex in Aurora, Colorado

Our project goals for this installation were to create a safe, engaging, and long lasting outdoor play space through the addition of new commercial playground equipment and playground mulch surfacing. The playground structure is designed to encourage active play, support physical development, and promote social interaction for children of various age groups. In addition, the installation of rubber mulch provides dependable fall protection, improved accessibility, and a clean, well defined play area. Together, these improvements will enhance the overall recreational environment and provide a durable play space for years to come.

This installation included one of our most popular pieces of playground equipment, the Eagles Perch Playground System, along with a two bay two cantilever swing set. This created a fun and well rounded play space designed for active recreation. The playground system includes engaging climbing and play components that support balance, coordination, and imaginative play, while the swing set adds an exciting motion based activity that encourages strength and social interaction. To complete the area, the project included 16 super sacks of brown rubber mulch, providing durable surfacing with dependable fall protection and a clean, finished look. Together, these features deliver a safe, attractive, and long-lasting playground environment.
