Client Profile

Riverland Paseo Park is a vibrant new 12‑acre public park located in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Opened in July 2024, the park offers something for everyone: a spacious, fenced 2‑acre dog park divided into zones for small, medium, and large breeds. There is also one softball field and two soccer/multifunctional sports fields available for group play or reservations; concession facilities, restrooms, bleachers with shade, and generous picnic areas for gatherings. It directly links to the scenic Paseo Greenway, enabling residents to reach the park easily by golf cart, bike, or on foot—making it a central hub for recreation, community connection, and pet-friendly fun in Riverland. Perfect for families, sports enthusiasts, dog lovers, and nature walkers alike, Riverland Paseo Park brings together open-air leisure, active play, and neighborhood camaraderie in a beautifully designed community space.

Community Park Project Goals

Our goals for this installation at the public park aimed to improve comfort, safety, and accessibility for visitors. These sun sail shade structures will provide essential protection from the sun and heat, allowing spectators and visitors to enjoy outdoor activities for longer periods throughout the year. By creating shaded seating areas, the project enhances the park’s usability and encourages greater community participation in sports, events, and recreation. Additionally, the shade structures will contribute to the park’s overall appearance and long-term sustainability by promoting a more enjoyable and inviting public space.

Public Park Project Details and Features

This installation involved multiple shade sail structures strategically placed to provide optimal coverage across the park. One 20’x15’x10′ hip shade was installed in-ground with glide fittings for smooth tensioning and durability. Additionally, three 14’x8’x8′ T-Cantilever shades and three 24’x17’x12′ T-Cantilever shades, all in-ground with glides, were installed to cover various high-use areas. To complete the project, four 24’x19’x12′ T-Cantilever bleacher shades were surface mounted with glide systems, offering shade over bleachers and benches throughout the park. The completed installation enhances comfort, protection, and aesthetic appeal for park visitors.
