New Life Christian Fellowship in Jacksonville, Florida is a vibrant non-denominational Christian church and community hub dedicated to helping people grow in their faith and connect with others through worship, teaching, and service. They offer regular worship services, ministries for all ages and opportunities for community outreach and support. The church also hosts The Storehouse, a local outreach ministry providing free practical resources like clothing and household items by appointment, and is affiliated with Providence School, a Christ-centered educational institution serving students from preschool through 12th grade.

Shade Systems Project Goals

Our project goal was to improve comfort, safety, and usability at the church pool by installing sun sail shade structures over the seating area. These additions provide much needed protection from sun exposure and heat, creating a more welcoming environment for families, students, and guests to gather, supervise, and enjoy activities. By enhancing the poolside space with reliable shade coverage, the church will be able to support longer, more comfortable use throughout the year while promoting a healthier and more enjoyable experience for everyone.

This project enhanced the church pool seating area with the installation of a 75’ x 20’ x 12’ multidome hanging cantilever sun shade system, designed to provide broad, reliable coverage and improved comfort for guests. The cantilever design maximizes shaded seating space while keeping support posts out of primary gathering and circulation areas, creating a cleaner and more open layout. The shade structure helps reduce heat and sun exposure, making the poolside environment more inviting for families, students, and church events throughout the year.
