Commercial Playset Project – Play Space for Preschool in Scarborough, Maine

Industrial Playground Project Goals

Our goal for the installation project was to create a fun, safe, and durable play environment that meets the client’s needs while enhancing the space for imaginative and active play. This included the installation of four pieces of Commercial Playground Equipment: our Grand Cove play system, the Eagles Perch playset, and two of our Playground Instruments—the Bongo Drums and the Metallophone. These offer a variety of physical activities and opportunities for group play. The client was responsible for supplying and installing their own Wood Mulch surfacing. Our team ensured that all equipment was securely anchored and properly spaced to accommodate the mulch and meet safety and accessibility standards.

Play Area Project Details and Features

This project involved the installation of a vibrant and engaging selection of equipment, all finished in bold primary colors to create a lively and welcoming play environment. The Grand Cove Commercial Playset was installed as the central structure, offering a variety of climbing, sliding, and interactive elements in eye-catching red, blue, and yellow tones. Nearby, the Eagles Perch Outdoor Playground was set up to complement the main structure, providing elevated climbing and lookout opportunities, also in matching primary colors. For sensory and musical enrichment, Bongo Drums and a Metallophone were installed, both designed in coordinating primary colors to encourage creative play and auditory exploration. The client provided the Certified Engineered Wood Fiber Playground Mulch. Together, these components create a cohesive, colorful, and stimulating play space that appeals to children of all ages.
