Commercial Playground Project Goals

Our project aimed to transform the community space into a welcoming environment by installing a bright, exciting outdoor playset with a commercial shade cover so kids can play comfortably any time of day. To keep everything safe and tidy, we used playground woodchips with playground borders. We also added two in-ground outdoor benches for relaxing, a trashcan to keep it clean, and some sports upgrades including two soccer goals and a set of bleachers for spectators. These additions encourage outdoor activity, social interaction, and a stronger sense of community.

Community Play Area Project Details and Features

This installation included one of our commercial playground sets, the Denton Play System in a primary color scheme. It also included a range of recreational and site amenities designed for both play and spectator engagement. Over the playground, we installed a 40’x30’x12′ rectangular hip shade structure, this provided ample coverage over the play area. Two in-ground mounted park benches were placed for comfortable seating, alongside a single trash receptacle for waste management. To accommodate spectators, two 3-row bleachers, each 21 feet long, were set in place. The play area perimeter was defined with 42 twelve-inch playground borders and included one half ramp for accessibility. Additionally, 62 cubic yards of Engineered Wood Fiber playground mulch were spread for surfacing. The installation was rounded out with two soccer goals, enhancing the space’s versatility for athletic activities.
