Community Playground Project – Play Area for Apartment Complex in Orlando, Florida

Our goals for this installation were to create a safe, engaging, and versatile outdoor recreation space that serves users of all ages and abilities. By installing one complete playground set, outdoor fitness equipment, and engineered wood chips with durable borders. We aimed to support active play, physical fitness, and inclusive use while meeting all safety and accessibility standards. The combination of play and fitness elements, along with properly contained, impact absorbing surfacing, will deliver a long lasting environment that encourages healthy movement, social interaction, and community enjoyment.

This project features the installation of playground equipment for apartments,  one Mount Sinai Playground set. Paired with 46 cubic yards of certified engineered wood chippings to provide a safe, impact-absorbing play surface contained by 39 border timbers for a clean, durable finish. To expand the site’s recreational value for a wider range of users, the project also includes a fitness area equipped with one Royal Double Station Hamstring Stretch, one Chin-Up Station, and one Single Station Push Up Bar, supporting strength, flexibility, and overall wellness. Together, these elements create a well-rounded outdoor space that encourages active play, fitness, and long-term community use.
