Client Profile

The Classical Academy of Sarasota (TCA), located in Sarasota, Florida, is a PreK-12 independent school that provides a classical liberal arts education designed to develop both strong academics and strong character. Founded in 2014, TCA follows a time honored, content rich curriculum rooted in the Western canon and emphasizes virtue formation alongside critical thinking and communication skills. In addition to its academic program, the school offers a robust campus life that includes athletics, fine arts/theater, and other student activities, helping students grow in leadership, creativity, and community involvement.

Commercial Playset Project Goals

Our goals for the installation of new commercial playground equipment were to create a safe and engaging play environment that supports active movement and inclusive fun for all users. We aimed to design a space that encourages physical development while meeting all applicable safety standards through properly installed swings and playground surfacing. We wanted to provide an accessible and welcoming play area, providing long term value for the school and a play experience that kids will be excited to return to again and again.

School Play Area Project Details and Features

Our project included the installation of one of our most popular pieces of school playground equipment, the Uptown District playground. This was designed to deliver a vibrant and accessible play space featuring a four bay swing set and approximately 3,750 sq ft of poured in place rubber safety surfacing. This installation prioritizes safe, high energy play with ample room for swinging while the seamless poured in place rubber flooring provides reliable impact protection, improved accessibility, and long term durability in all weather conditions. With its clean, modern finish and low maintenance materials, the playground offers an inviting and inclusive environment that supports active movement, social interaction, and years of enjoyable use for the students.
