Community Playground Project – Play Area for Neighborhood in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida

Our goals for this multi-site development were to provide fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate play experiences that encourage physical activity, imagination, and social interaction for children of varying ages and abilities. The scope included the installation of one playing playground, one curved post pebble bridge, one merry-go-round, one see-saw, and a hip shade structure over the play system to provide protection from the sun. This project also included the installation of rubber mulch surfacing and borders to enhance safety of the playground area.

This project installation included the Typhoon Pass outdoor playset as its centerpiece, offering a variety of climbing, sliding, and imaginative play opportunities for children of different ages and abilities. Additional play features included a curved post pebble bridge to promote balance and coordination, the Radical Rotator merry-go-round for dynamic group play, and the Flip Flopper spring see-saw for interactive movement and fun. The playground was completed with durable border containment and 16 supersacks of rubberised mulch surfacing to enhance safety and accessibility. A 24′ x 40′ x 12′ hip sun shade structure was installed over the play system, providing ample protection from the sun and creating a more comfortable play environment.
