Community Park Project – Play Area for Public Park in Navarre, Florida

Community Park Project Goals

Our project goals focused on creating a space that is safe, inclusive, and enjoyable for all visitors. The outdoor musical equipment was added to inspire creativity, sensory engagement, and social interaction by allowing children and adults to explore rhythm and sound. A commercial shade structure was included to provide protection from the sun and weather, ensuring comfort and making the area usable year-round. The poured-in-place rubber flooring was chosen to enhance safety and accessibility, offering a smooth, durable surface that reduces the risk of injury while accommodating people of all abilities. Finally, park benches were installed to provide comfortable seating for rest, supervision, and gathering, supporting longer visits and encouraging community connections

Community Play Area Project Details and Features

This installation includes a Premium Musical Instrument Package featuring one harp, one manta ray, and one set of pagoda bells, providing a variety of interactive play and sensory experiences. A 40’x40’x9′ quad sail shade structure was installed over the equipment to ensure comfort and protection from the sun. We added three park benches for seating. The project also features 2,025 square feet of poured-in-place rubber playground surfacing at a 2-inch thickness, designed with a three-color pattern and accented with musical notes embedded in the surfacing, installed over an aggregate base for durability and safety.
