Client Profile

Blue Summit Academy is a licensed childcare and early education center serving families in the Lutz, Florida area. The academy provides a safe, nurturing environment focused on early childhood development for children from approximately 6 weeks to 9 years old. Its programs include infant care, preschool and VPK programs, as well as before- and after-school care and summer activities. The school emphasizes a play-based, bilingual learning approach that combines academics, creative activities such as music and art, and social development to help children build confidence and prepare for future schooling. The facility also offers outdoor play areas, structured educational activities, and family-focused programs designed to support both children and working parents.

School Playground Area Project Goals

Our goals of this project were to create a safe and engaging play environment through the installation of three commercial playground structures along with an additional set of standalone playground panels. These play features were designed to encourage physical activity, creativity, and social interaction for children of varying ages and developmental stages. The installation of artificial turf surfacing provides a clean low maintenance surface that enhances safety and accessibility while supporting year round use. Together, these improvements aimed to create an inviting outdoor space that promotes active play and learning for children.

Play Space Project Details and Features

The project includes the installation of several engaging play components designed to create a diverse and interactive play environment. Key features include the Camp Walden, Little Tot, and Cape Shorty playground sets, which provide a variety of age appropriate climbing, sliding, and imaginative play opportunities. Additional interactive elements such as the Hall of Kings play panels and the Rhythm Trio musical play feature encourage creativity, sensory engagement, and social interaction. Playground borders were installed to properly contain the surfacing area, and the site was finished with 1,526 square feet of synthetic turf, providing a durable, low maintenance, and safe surface that supports year round play while enhancing the overall appearance of the playground area.
