Community Playground Project – Play Area for Neighborhood in Tampa, Florida

The goal of this project was to create a safe and engaging outdoor recreation space for children and families through several key playground improvements. This project included the installation of two commercial playgrounds. They provide additional opportunities for imaginative and social interaction. To support comfort and accessibility within the play area, two durable metal outdoor benches were also installed for parents, caregivers, and visitors. In addition, approximately 1,800 square feet of poured in place rubber matting was added to improve accessibility and provide a long lasting and low maintenance play surface for the community play space.

This project featured the installation of the Peak District Outdoor Playset in vibrant primary colors, creating an exciting and visually engaging play environment that promotes active recreation and imaginative play. The project also included the Worthy Courage Playground System, also designed in primary colors, to provide additional age appropriate play opportunities that encourage climbing, exploration, and social interaction. To enhance comfort and usability throughout the playground area, two durable metal outdoor benches were installed to accommodate visitors. The playground space was completed with approximately 1,800 square feet of poured in place playground safety surfacing in a 50% green and 50% black color blend, providing a safe and accessible surface.
