Playground Shade Site Amenities Dog Park and Surfacing for Neighborhood

Brightwater by Metro Places is a residential community in Fort Myers, Florida, known for its resort style living and attractive amenities. The community offers a range of newly built single family homes set around a large, crystal clear lagoon and sandy beach areas that bring a coastal lifestyle inland, including trails, parks, and spaces for outdoor recreation. Brightwater residents enjoy features like walking paths, dog parks, and scenic waterside views, with homes from top builders and easy access to nearby Fort Myers’ dining, shops, and beaches.

Commercial Playground Project Goals

Our goal for this project was to create a welcoming and functional outdoor space by installing high quality playground equipment and site furniture under a commercial shade structure. We aimed to enhance usability, comfort, and protection from the sun. The addition of wood mulch was intended to improve safety and durability of the play areas, while the installation of dog park equipment expanded recreational options and encouraged community engagement that serves both families and pet owners.

Community Play Area Project Details and Features

This project featured the installation of the Aberdeen Playground Set customized in a bright blue and orange color scheme, along with added play elements including a Fidget Spinner and the Bumbling Betsy Spring Rider for extra movement and interactive fun. Site amenities included two benches as well as two 32-gallon receptacles at the playground to support cleanliness. A 48’x32’x12’ sun shade structure was installed over the playground equipment for improved comfort, and 105 cubic yards of engineered wood chips surfacing were installed to complete the play area. We also added dog park equipment, the park was outfitted with an arched welcome and rules sign, one pet waste receptacle, one Dog Fido Fountain, and two in-ground Paws dog park benches to create a functional and welcoming space for pets and their owners.
