Playground Project – Play Space for Church in Ennis, Texas

Play System Project Goals

The goal of this project was to enhance the outdoor recreation area by creating a safer, more comfortable, and engaging environment for children and families. The installation of new play equipment will encourage active play, physical development, and social interaction, while the addition of a sun shade structure over the existing tables will provide relief from the sun and improve the usability of the space for gathering and supervision. New rubber mulch surfacing further enhances safety by providing a durable and impact-absorbing play surface that supports year-round enjoyment.

Play Equipment Project Details and Features

This project features the installation of the Double Trouble playground system, a high-quality piece of commercial play equipment designed to provide children with a fun, engaging, and developmentally enriching play experience. The new playground was complemented by a 20′ x 10′ rectangular hip playground sun shade canopy, creating a comfortable and sun-protected environment that encourages year-round active outdoor play. The play area was surfaced with durable blue rubberised mulch playground surfacing and bordered for a clean, finished appearance while enhancing safety and accessibility. Together, these improvements created a vibrant outdoor recreation space that promotes social interaction, physical activity, and lasting enjoyment for children and families.
