Encino Estates Property Owners Association is a deed-restricted residential community located in Dayton, Texas, northeast of Houston. The community offers a peaceful neighborhood setting with residential lots, a guarded entrance, resident park amenities, and community management that helps maintain property standards and shared spaces for homeowners.

Community Playground Project Goals

The goal of this project was to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive playground environment for children of all ages and abilities. Project improvements included the installation of three playing playground systems, one swing set, two spring riders, one net climber, and one themed climber to provide a variety of play experiences. The project also included the installation of playground mulch to enhance playground safety and accessibility. Two benches were added to provide comfortable seating for parents, caregivers, and visitors. Overall, this project created a durable and family friendly recreational space that supports community wellness and provides lasting benefits for residents and visitors.

Neighborhood Play Space Project Details and Features

This project included a comprehensive playground upgrade featuring a diverse range of playground equipment and site amenities. The installation included three large playground systems, the Sequoia Crest Playground System, Mountain View Play System, and Pioneer Place Commercial Playground, offering climbing, sliding, balancing, and imaginative play opportunities. Additional play features include the Old Oak Themed Climber, a Spider Web Climber, a Bee Spring Rider, an After While Crocodile Rider, and a three-bay swing set with bucket seats to accommodate a variety of age groups and play preferences. To enhance comfort and accessibility, the project also included the installation of two steel backed park benches for caregivers and visitors. Safety surfacing was provided through the placement of 37 supersacks of rubber mulch throughout the playground use zones, creating a durable safety surface. Together, these improvements created an exciting play space for the community.
