Harbor at Lake Henry, located in Winter Haven, Florida, is a new construction community by Highland Homes offering both townhomes and single family residences nestled beside the tranquil Lake Henry Canal. The neighborhood embraces a serene, park-like feel with green spaces and a playground, while also offering convenient access to major roads and nearby Chain of Lakes boat ramps.

Commercial Playground Project Goals

Our project goals focused on creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally rich play environment for children. The installation included a new playground structure, a selection of independent play items to encourage imaginative and active play, and wood mulch safety surfacing to ensure proper fall protection. Together, these elements promote physical activity, support social interaction, and provide a durable, low maintenance space that the community can enjoy for years to come.

Community Play Area Project Details and Features

This project included the installation of the Fort Shorty Playground Set along with two engaging independent play elements: the zig-zag balance beam and the fidget spinner sit and spin. Together, these components provide a well rounded mix of physical, sensory, and imaginative play opportunities for children of various ages. The play area was finished with approximately 68 cubic yards of wood chips to create a safe surface that meets ASTM safety standards and ensures long lasting protection and durability.
