Commercial Shade Structure Project – Sun Shade for School in Valrico, Florida

Our project goal was to improve the school’s outdoor environment by installing one commercial shade structure that provided dependable sun protection for students and staff. This addition was intended to increase comfort and usability during recess and daily activities by creating a cooler, safer space to gather. Overall, the shade structure helped support a more functional and enjoyable campus experience throughout the year.

This project included the installation of a 70′ x 35′ x 12′ rectangular hip sun sail shade structure designed to provide broad, reliable coverage over the school’s existing playing equipment. Built for long term performance and daily use, the shade helped reduce direct sun exposure while improving comfort and usability throughout the day. With its spacious footprint and durable design, the new shade structure enhanced the playground area by creating a cooler, more protected environment for students during recess and outdoor activities.
