Little Wonders Learning Center is an early childhood education and childcare facility located in Tampa, Florida, that provides a safe and nurturing environment for young children and school-age students. The center offers programs including infant and toddler care, preschool and VPK (Voluntary Prekindergarten), after school care, and summer programs, all designed to support children’s social, educational, and developmental growth. Through structured learning activities and play-based programs, Little Wonders focuses on helping children build confidence, develop basic skills, and prepare for kindergarten while fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Preschool Playground Project Goals
The goals of this project were to create a safe and enriching play environment through the installation of a commercial playground system complemented by individual play elements, including interactive musical equipment. These features were designed to encourage active play, creativity, and social interaction while supporting children’s physical coordination and sensory development. The playground was installed over poured in place rubberised playground flooring, providing a durable, impact absorbing surface that enhances safety, accessibility, and long term usability for children of varying abilities. This project aimed to deliver a vibrant and inclusive outdoor space that supports both structured and imaginative play.
Playground System Project Details and Features
This project included the installation of the Los Arboles Play Equipment in a vibrant primary color scheme, designed to create an inviting play environment for children. This play area also featured interactive musical elements, including a Metallophone and Honeycomb Hand Drums, both in matching primary colors, encouraging sensory exploration, creativity, and cooperative play. To enhance safety and accessibility, the installation included approximately 1,500 square feet of poured in place rubber playground surfacing, providing a durable and impact attenuating surface that offers long term performance while maintaining a bright and cohesive appearance throughout the playground space.
