Commercial Playground Project – Play Area for Church in Spring Branch, Texas

Commercial Playgrounds Project Goals

The goal of this project was to create a safe and engaging outdoor recreation space through the installation of two commercial playground systems with integrated shade structures and protective playground surfacing. The project was designed to provide children of various ages with opportunities for active play, social interaction, and physical development while enhancing comfort and safety through shaded play areas and impact-attenuating surfacing. These improvements helped create exciting play environments for the church community.

Church Play Space Project Details and Features

The project transformed the outdoor recreation area through the installation of the Big Sky Playground Set, featuring five integrated sun shade structures, and the Santa Clara Playground, featuring one integrated shade structure. Together, these play systems created dynamic spaces that encourage active play, exploration, and social interaction while providing relief from the sun. To enhance safety and complement the overall design, 19 supersacks of red rubber mulch were installed throughout the playground areas, delivering durable impact attenuation and a vibrant appearance.
