Installed the Hudson Yards playset with integrated shades, a Funnel Ball game, metal benches, picnic tables, trash receptacles, border timbers, and rubber mulch safety surfacing.

Client Profile

Cordoba Courts is a residential apartment community located in Opa-Locka, Florida. It offers spacious one, two, and three bedroom apartment homes designed for comfortable, everyday living with features like air conditioning and cable readiness. The community provides a range of amenities for residents, including on-site laundry facilities, a playground and basketball court, mature landscaping, courtyards, and an inground swimming pool. Its location gives residents convenient access to nearby shopping, restaurants, parks, entertainment, and major roadways like Interstate-95.

Playground Project Goals

The goal of this project is to create a safe, functional, and welcoming play space for the community by installing new play equipment along with durable rubber mulch safety surfacing to help reduce the risk of injury and support long term use. In addition, new seating will provide comfortable areas for caregivers and visitors, while trash cans will encourage cleanliness and help maintain the site. Together, these improvements enhance safety, comfort, and overall enjoyment for families using the area.

Community Play Area Project Details and Features

This project included the installation of a Hudson Yards Play Playground System with integrated shades, creating a comfortable and engaging play environment with built in sun protection. The scope also featured one Funnel Ball Game to add interactive play, along with five metal outdoor benches and three commercial grade metal picnic tables to provide durable seating options for families and visitors. To support site cleanliness, six 32 gallon classic style trash receptacles were installed. The play area was completed with eight supersacks of coated rubberised mulch for safety surfacing and 37 border timbers to help define and contain the playground space for a clean, finished look.
