Neighborhood Play Space Project Goals

Our project goals were to create a safe and engaging play environment by installing a new outdoor playground along with durable borders and impact absorbing playground mulch. The new play structure encourages active play and social interaction, while the borders help define the play area and keep surfacing contained. With rubber mulch providing improved fall protection, these upgrades enhance overall safety and enjoyment for children year round.

Playground for Community Project Details and Features

This project features the installation of the Independence Commercial Playground with Integrated Shade in a neutral color scheme, creating a comfortable and inviting play space with built in sun protection. Additional play elements include one zigzag balance beam to promote coordination, along with a pebble path that adds a fun feature to the area. The playground surfacing was completed using 18 supersacks of brown rubber mulch for impact absorbance, and the space was finished with 56 playground borders to neatly define the play area and keep materials securely contained.
