Client Profile

San Juan del Rio Catholic School is a private Catholic school located in Fruit Cove, Florida, offering a faith based education for students from Pre-K through 8th grade. Committed to forming both “saints and scholars,” the school integrates strong academic programs with spiritual growth rooted in Catholic traditions and values, fostering personal development, service to others, and academic excellence. It provides a comprehensive curriculum delivered by state-certified teachers and supports students’ spiritual, intellectual, and social growth within a nurturing community.

School Play Space Project Goals

Our project goal was to create a safe, engaging, and well-defined outdoor play space by installing new school playground equipment along with wood mulch surfacing and durable borders. These improvements were intended to support active play, encourage social interaction, and provide a comfortable, impact-absorbing surface for daily use. By clearly outlining the play area and enhancing overall safety, the upgraded playground helped deliver a more functional and enjoyable environment for students.

Playground and Surfacing Project Details and Features

This project included the installation of the Humphrey Creek outdoor playground set, providing students with a fun and engaging playground structure designed for active play and daily use. To support safety and comfort, we also installed 71 cubic yards of engineered wood chips mulch throughout the play area. In addition, 47 playground borders were installed to clearly define the space, help contain the mulch, and improve overall organization and long term maintenance of the playground.
