Project Spotlight – Preschool Commercial Playground System and Playground Grass

Project Goals

Our daycare playground project objectives for McGregor Early Learning Academy in Fort Myers, FL, included designing and installing several age appropriate commercial playground systems, new artificial playground turf by removing the existing borders over the toddler playground system. We aimed to create a safe, durable, and visually appealing turf surface, enhancing the playground area for young children’s play and development.

Project Details and Features

The project at McGregor Early Learning Academy in Fort Myers, FL, involved relocating 5,728 sqft of engineered wood fiber (EWF) and removing border timbers. We then installed 3,128 sqft of artificial playground turf with 2.25″ padding over an aggregate base for the Pre-K playground and 2,600 sqft of turf with 1.25″ padding for the Toddler playground, creating safe and durable play areas, we also installed several age appropriate commercial playground units designed for preschool age children.
