Project Goals

The goal of this project was to create a safe and engaging outdoor play space that encourages children to stay active and enjoy imaginative play. By incorporating a variety of play experiences, the space was designed to support physical development, social interaction, and inclusive recreation. The project included the installation of a commercial playground system, a standalone climber, and a spring rider to provide activities for children with different interests and abilities. A bench was also added to offer comfortable seating for caregivers, while artificial turf with safety pads created a durable, low-maintenance surface that enhances both safety and the overall appearance of the playground.

This project featured the installation of the Ladera Heights Playground Set with integrated shade in neutral tones. To expand the play experience, the Craggy Island Climber and After While Crocodile Rider were added, offering activities that promote balance and coordination. The play area was completed with an outdoor bench to provide convenient seating for caregivers and visitors. To enhance safety, 1,580 square feet of synthetic turf with safety pads was installed, delivering a durable surface that complements the playground while helping cushion falls.
