Play and Shade Structure Project Goals

The goal of this project was to create a safe and engaging outdoor recreation area through the installation of new play equipment and a shade structure. The playground equipment provides children with opportunities for active play, physical development, and social interaction, while the sun shade structure enhances user comfort by offering protection from the sun and reducing heat exposure. Together, these improvements created a welcoming environment that encourages year round outdoor enjoyment.

Play Equipment Project Details and Features

This project included the installation of the Ryan Playground Set, designed to provide children with a fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate play experience. The project also features the installation of a 28′ x 42′ x 10′ sunny shade structure to enhance user comfort by providing protection from the sun and creating a more enjoyable outdoor environment. These improvements work together to create a safe, attractive, and functional recreation area for the community. Please note that the artificial turf surfacing was completed by another vendor and is not included within the scope of this project.
